Terms of use

Last updated: 5 October 2026

Service scope

These terms describe use of the ChemAI Atlas resource directory and editorial content. The service helps you discover and evaluate chemistry and chemical-engineering AI resources. It does not supply the linked tools, execute their workflows or provide professional laboratory, medical, legal or industrial advice. Please read these terms and the privacy notice before using account or submission features.

Account responsibilities

Use an email address you control, complete verification when required and protect your sign-in credentials. Do not impersonate another person, share secret action links or bypass account restrictions. Google sign-in is optional when available, and an existing account must be linked explicitly rather than merged solely because emails match. Report suspected unauthorized use promptly.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service for unlawful activity, harassment, malware, spam, unauthorized access or disclosure of confidential information. Do not evade rate limits, overload the service or interfere with other users. Automated access must respect applicable permissions and technical restrictions; a public page is not permission to republish a third party’s protected work.

Submissions and editorial decisions

Submit accurate information and sources you are entitled to share. By submitting a resource or correction, you authorize the team to review, edit, translate and incorporate that submitted information into the atlas for operating the service. This does not transfer ownership of a linked project or override its licence. Do not submit confidential or personal data. We may reject, merge, correct or remove a submission; submission does not guarantee publication or a reply.

Third-party tools and licences

Third-party providers control their own tools, pricing, availability, security and data policies. Check the current official documentation, licence and service terms before use, especially for commercial use, model weights, datasets and hosted APIs. A repository being visible or a resource being listed does not establish permission to use, redistribute or train on its contents.

Accuracy and scientific decisions

Descriptions and translations may contain errors or become outdated. AI-assisted text and suggested workflows require source checking and independent evaluation; inclusion is not scientific validation or tested interoperability. You are responsible for assessing suitability and protecting your data. Use qualified review and applicable safety procedures for experimental, clinical, environmental or industrial decisions.

Content and copyright concerns

Linked software, datasets, papers, logos and trademarks remain subject to their owners’ rights and licences. Do not assume all material on the site has one common reuse licence. When reporting a rights concern, identify the affected page and original work so the team can investigate and, where appropriate, correct or remove the material.

Service changes and restrictions

Features and content may change, and access may be interrupted for maintenance, technical incidents or provider outages. We may restrict abusive activity or disable accounts when necessary to protect the service or meet legal obligations. These terms do not promise continuous availability or a particular scientific or commercial outcome, and do not exclude rights or responsibilities that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

Questions and updates

The team is based in Japan. Questions or disputes should first be raised through the support address so we can understand the issue. Applicable mandatory laws continue to apply. Substantial updates will be published on this page with a new date; contact us if you need clarification before continuing to use account or submission features.
